Worth saying which yours is when you post a job — the same work on a 2005 house and a 1975 house wants two completely different quotes, especially anything electrical, structural or to do with insulation.

Living on the bush edge

• Gutter clearing isn't optional maintenance out here. It's seasonal work with a deadline on it.
• Ember-resistant details — screens, seals, vents, and what a deck's built from — are a fair thing to raise with anyone quoting outdoor work on a reserve-facing block.
• What you plant near the house is a legitimate part of a landscaping brief on these streets, not an afterthought.

Suburbs we cover

Molonglo — Coombs, Wright, Denman Prospect and Whitlam — is just north and most of the same trades cover it. It's new-build country though, so the work there looks a lot more like Gunners than the Creek. Cooleman Court is the natural meeting point for both.
